From Monday to Wednesday this week, most of Year 5 visited Robinwood activity centre near Alston. We had lots of opportunities to practice our core school values of respect, responsibility and resilience over the three days. We took part in raft building, canoeing, team challenges such as Piranha Pool (only a couple of nibbled toes!) and high activities such as trapeze, zipwire and climbing. All of the children worked very hard over the three days in many cases achieving many ” firsts” such as being away from home and conquering fears. It was a pleasure to take the children away; their behaviour and enthusiasm was outstanding. Well done!
