At our school, lunchtime assistants play a vital role in supporting pupils’ development. They provide guidance on using cutlery correctly and encourage good manners, including saying “please” and “thank you” while eating with mouths closed. Additionally, they ensure that all pupils have access to a drink and actively promote healthy eating habits, fostering a positive and respectful dining environment for every child.
