From Monday to Wednesday this week, most of Year 5 visited Robinwood activity centre near Alston. We had lots of opportunities to practice our core school values of respect, responsibility and resilience over the three days. We took part in raft building, canoeing, team challenges such as Piranha Pool (only a couple of nibbled toes!)…
Today was World Thinking Day and some of our pupils came to school in their Rainbow, Brownie, Beavers, and Cubs uniform. The Brownies and Rainbows presented an assembly with their leaders.
Year 6 have been studying World War II. They were given a project for homework and did exceptionally well researching the topic; creating pictures; and making marvellous cakes out of rationed ingredients.
