We are delighted to announce that Longtown Primary School has been selected to take part in the government initiative offering a free Breakfast Club for all school-aged children (Reception – Year 6).
Children will be able to attend school from 8:00–8:40am to enjoy a nutritious breakfast, including a selection of:
• Cereals
• Yoghurts
• Fruit
• Pastries
• Toast
Our vision is to create a ‘hotel-style’ breakfast buffet, where children take responsibility for preparing their own breakfast, sitting with friends, and enjoying a relaxed start to the day. A variety of activities will also be available, including games, colouring, and reading.
This trial scheme will run until March 2026, providing a fantastic opportunity for children to start their day with a healthy meal in a social and supportive environment.
