We’re delighted that Longtown Primary School continues to take part in the government’s free Breakfast Club initiative, offering a free breakfast to all school-aged children from Reception to Year 6.
Children can attend school from 8:00–8:40am and enjoy a nutritious breakfast, with a selection including cereals, yoghurts, fruit, toast, porridge and much more.
Our aim is to provide a relaxed, hotel-style breakfast buffet, where children can develop independence by preparing their own breakfast, sitting with friends and enjoying a positive start to the school day. A range of activities is also available, including games, colouring and reading.
The Breakfast Club provides a welcoming and supportive environment where children can start the day well, enjoy time with friends and be ready to learn.
