Students representing all 7 schools in the Cumbria Education Trust (CET) participated in the inaugural collaborative School Council meeting.
The group, made up of students from Longtown, Tebay, The Whitehaven Academy, Workington Academy, Yanwath and Yewdale, met to discuss how each individual School Council functioned and what could be done to raise money for this year’s Red Nose Day on Friday, 15 March. Students from William Howard School could not make the meeting but still took part in the discussions via Skype.
