On Monday, all CET schools took part in the #BrighterCumbria challenge – aiming to spread kindness and joy across our school communities, in order to beat ‘Blue Monday’ and make everyone smile!
Longtown accepted the challenge and planned a full day of activities, including a very special visit to Eskdale House – where pupils spent time with the elderly, sharing stories, playing games and eating cake! We had such a great afternoon and the staff were so impressed they requested we come back another day, keep an eye on our website for updates on our next visit.
Also, lots of our pupils completed secret kindness missions around school; helping others, sharing, offering support and tidying up.
What a fantastic day!
