What is your name? Emilia Sefton
What class do you teach? I teach Year 3 and we are called Team Fox.
How long have you worked at Longtown Primary School? This is my first year as a teacher, but I have been part of Longtown Primary School for a little longer because I completed my final teaching placement here with Team Rabbit.
What would the children be surprised to find out about you? The children might be surprised to find out that I have taught English abroad in Germany to children from all over the world!
What makes a ‘good’ day at Longtown Primary School? A good day at Longtown Primary School is when everyone has had lots of fun, learnt something new, helped each other and gone home feeling proud of themselves.
What is the best thing about being a teacher? The best thing about being a teacher is seeing children learn new things, grow in confidence, and realise that they can achieve things they might not have thought were possible.
What wisdom would you pass on to the children in your class? I would remind the children to always be kind, believe in themselves and never be afraid to make mistakes, because mistakes help us learn and grow.
