How long have you been teaching? This is my eleventh year working at Longtown Primary School.
What would the children be surprised to find out about you? The children would surprised to discover that I have recently started fell walking with my children.
What is your favourite book and why? I don’t have one favourite book, as I simply love reading and there are too many to choose from. I do enjoy reading Julia Donaldson books to children as they have lots of rhyme in them. They also allow me to be expressive and I love putting on funny voices as I read.
My favourite quote is ‘’Always be kind.”

What would the children be surprised to find out about you? When I went to school, I played the flute! I like to go to Carlisle Dance Academy to keep fit.
What is your favourite book and why? I have lots of favourite books and love to read to my little girl every night. My favourite to read to her is ‘You Choose’ because we imagine lots of different things together.
What is your favourite quote? Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you’ll look back and realise they were the big things.
